a huge not recommended on Angie's list a total mistake .. estimate given over the phone was 200 dollars less when i picked up my auto and asked why it was more i was told that additional work needed to be done without my authorization .. work was not performed properly.. took car to dealer and was told that work performed was not done correctly. and caused further damages to my vehicle ... will never recommend this place to any one at all ...

Dealers are still doing it! Took my 2001 Lincoln Continental to dealer that I purchased it from and they told me it had a hole in the radiator which would require a replacement and a steering rack (whatever that is) that needed to be replaced. That cost was going to be over $1,400. On the recommendation of my husband, I took it to Star & Northwest. There is no hole in the radiator and there is nothing wrong with the steering rack. It was the ball joints. So for $600 I got new ball joints and I had them replace the two front ... read more

Superior Service and Value Finding an honest and trustworthy mechanic can be a daunting process. When you find them, you keep them. Star & Northwest is one such place. I have used this shop to repair my car 3 times. The repairs ranged from minor to major. Each time, from start to finish, they always communicated clearly and did what they said they would do. They are professional and their integrity is apparent in their work. No hype, no broken promises, just work done right and on time.

Great service Star and Northwest is the best! I took my car to another repair shop for an oil change and they said I needed a whole new exhaust system. Then I took it to Star for a second opinion and it was just a very simple part that was lose on the exhaust pipe. Very easy and an inexpensive repair. They fixed it on the spot. I appreciate their honesty.

Honest service This locally owned auto shop is one of the best in town. They are honest, fair and do great work. There are no gas pumps...just engine repair and service.
