Honestly they were an hour later than expected but that's perfectly OK. Rather wait an hour at home than in an uncomfortable waiting room. From the moment I was on the phone to the end of repairs, the experience was great! The guy on the phone took time to listen to me, discuss repairs needed and didn't push for a diagnostic (kinda old fashion in the sense that mechanics should be able to know what repairs are needed without a computer to always tell them). They are the best. They came behind a bad mechanic that I used and was able to fix the problem. They had open communication with me and got the work done within a reasonable timeframe. Defiantly will use them again.
They were able to get the part I needed and fix my car within 24 hours on a weekend when most places wouldn't even answer the phone. Their estimate was accurate and they were kind enough to jumpstart the car, too. Mechanic who visited the house was very nice and explained everything and gave advice.
Tune up and engine light issues. He is very good. Everything thing he does is well understood and justified. He is a 5 star mechanic. Would definitely use him again. Great personality.
I replaced my gas tank and fuel pump. The Malibu has a set of known issues with the factory fuel pumps and one of them is the harness. When the fuel pump is replaced the four-pin 2 and 2-stacked harness is upgraded to a four-pin straight/ flat harness. I got the wiring wrong because I couldn't tell what color the wires were (I didn't peel back the plastic far enough bc I didn't want to disturb that band of wires too much...).
