For a place called Star Lumber you would think it's a place to go for quality hardwoods but what they have in the racks is nothing but junk rejects that nobody else wanted and at a premium price. The racks are not situated where you can easily look through the junk either. Whoever made the decision to move hardwoods from the Mccormick yard to maple and west needs to have their head checked because it's obvious now that they don't want to make it a good experience for a guy to get a few nice pieces of wood.
Tried to purchase a piece of wood that was horribly twisted and asked for the piece to be discounted, the cashier went on to say "that's how it comes" and refused to discount the board.....ill never be back!
Customer service is always great very helpful and knowledgeable employees just beware when buying rough sawn hardwood lumber that price do change always ask first never assume it will be the same as your previous time
An amazing group of people who really do treat everyone in their office like a family.
Took a board in to see if could ID it for me. While there the wife found somethings for an upcoming project she would like to change to.
