On Saturday 10/4 I brought my computer to Staples because I had purchased it there previously. When I purchased the computer, they did not have anything in stock that met my needs so they agreed to sell me the display model. All was well until I restored the computer back to the factory settings which I then received a message that my copy of Windows 7 was not a valid copy. I recently purchased a new computer for my son which the total cost was $1004.83. There was to be a data transfer from the old computer to the new with the set up. That did not initially happen when I was told my computer was ready for pick-up so it was left a second time for the data transfer. This is a formal complaint against staples store #1200 in Wilkes Barre PA. The Management Team needs major improvement. There was a problem with our item ringing up correctly as this was a "Big purchase" so the young lady checking us out was trying to fix it. I have been shopping at Staples for over 10 years. But it seem Staples has changed recently, downward. Ordered two boxes of copypaper on Jun 22. Got a Order Summary screenprint, a order confirmation email, and a printed packing slip on the packages later. Bought a refurbished ****** computer on line on April 15th at Staples. The delivery was late and I was going on holidays. Because it was late, I wasn't able to spend much time before I left. I turned it on and it worked. When I got back from holidays, I got error 1962 which shows up when trying to boot up and the sequence fails to start up and is followed by "No Operating System found". I am have been a Rewards customer with Premier status since 2006. I have earned the Premier level by spending over $1,000 at Staples annually. I believe that one of the perks of the rewards program was free shipping for orders over $14.99. A couple days ago, I got an email saying we'd get next-day shipping starting July 1st. I purchased a **** multifunction color, wifi laser printer online from Staples. The printer was for my home office and I was in no hurry to unbox it so it sat around for a week. When I tried to setup the printer, it would not connect to my ******* 1900 router nor was it recognized by my iMac.
