This vintage cafe and ice cream soda fountain shop was crafted with all original fixtures, signs, and memorabilia that we have collected over the years, from the liquid carbonic soda fountain we use to handcraft each soda and float, the same way it was done decades ago - to the blinking atomic ball light that was used in the fifties to attrach customers to luncheonettes. I can't say enough about Stango's! I went with my mom over the summer and loved it. The atmosphere and the way it's decorated inside is so unique. The coffee and food are great. It's a fantastic place to hang out! I really could have stayed there all day. I look forward to stopping by when I'm visiting home next!
I was in town visiting & we were actually headed to icecream parlor but they didn’t open til 2 .. We came across Stango’s & we really enjoyed the atmosphere, & location. It’s different for San Angelo! I like that you can relax & sit on 🛋 upstairs / also great place for students to study ! Overall I really loved it ! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Waitress was sweet ! Delicious Pizza and shakes
Absolutely LOVE Stangos and the owner. We go often. I have a young child and before her bday party that weekend we went for actual birthday lunch. The owner went to his collectible items and came back with a super sweet cabbage patch baby in the original package and gave it to my daughter. Steve is such a sweet guy! We will definitely continue going to Stangos and referring our family and friends!!

I loved this place it was so homey and nostalgic and the pizza was delicious...friendly service will definitely go back!!
Today was not a good day for Stango's. After a 45 minute wait for a cup of coffee, we talked to the manager. The manager explained well blamed his employees for not working. they were backed up on orders and getting them wrong. This place needs new management.
