This vintage cafe and ice cream soda fountain shop was crafted with all original fixtures, signs, and memorabilia that we have collected over the years, from the liquid carbonic soda fountain we use to handcraft each soda and float, the same way it was done decades ago - to the blinking atomic ball light that was used in the fifties to attrach customers to luncheonettes. RecommendedStangos is one of my favorite places to grab a delicious slice of pizza and coffee. My wife and I ate there for lunch today and the calzones were cooked excellently and our cold coffees (Joel’s special frappe I think?) were the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. The atmosphere is beautiful, service was excellent, and prices were not outrageous. This is my third time at Stangos and it gets better every time I head over.

I took my kids for an event earlier this year, when they were starting to reopen downtown. We all absolutely love the atmosphere and the kids loved their ice cream! We’ll definitely be repeating the experience!

Our teens love to go here ( whole family does actually). Love their pizza and trying out different drinks. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. A San Angelo favorite if you are visiting.
My kids and I love this place! The calzones and desserts are amazing and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. We've had nothing but great service everytime we've been. It's one of our favorites!
I love the salad, pizzas and sandwiches and the ice cream is home made and delicious!!!
