This vintage cafe and ice cream soda fountain shop was crafted with all original fixtures, signs, and memorabilia that we have collected over the years, from the liquid carbonic soda fountain we use to handcraft each soda and float, the same way it was done decades ago - to the blinking atomic ball light that was used in the fifties to attrach customers to luncheonettes. I LOVE the food, especially the pizza. I would rate this 5 stars for only food. I'd give the service 1 star. We never got greeted, so I went to the front to let a server know we were there. Waited 10 minutes for our drinks. I eventually had to go up and get them, found our server on her phone. I had to get up for refills, get up for plates, and get up to order dessert. I love Stangos and it was even better to be joined by my daughter and granddaughters. Folks, Stangos is great place to take your family for great pizza, fountain drinks, desserts and plenty of fun.

Love this place! Absolutely without a doubt the best New York style (thin crust) pizza in town. Pizza dough made daily in house. Top quality ingredients. Terrific ice cream creations made from the old fashioned soda fountain. Fun atmosphere!
