This vintage cafe and ice cream soda fountain shop was crafted with all original fixtures, signs, and memorabilia that we have collected over the years, from the liquid carbonic soda fountain we use to handcraft each soda and float, the same way it was done decades ago - to the blinking atomic ball light that was used in the fifties to attrach customers to luncheonettes. The turtle caramel frapp is amazing, the waitress was super nice AND they brought my 8 month old a cup of their yummy whipped cream. Love the environment BUT the other waitress staff was not very attentive when we first walked in. All in all i'm rating Stango's a 5 because it was a good place to hang out with family.

Just popped in for pizzas and drinks with our three kiddos- I'm from upstate NY and a total pizza snob because I grew up on authentic NY style pizza. This pizza is the closest taste of home I have found in Texas!! Crispy thin crust, large slices, and hot delicious cheese-yum!! The ambiance is fun, we even got up to swing dance- and the service was awesome! Our server was friendly, came to refill drinks several times, and the food was piping hot!
