Tried to call and get an appointment for a muscle issue but the front desk lady won't even schedule an appointment. And... WAS NOT very friendly... this is STANFORD... world renown.... not proving the customer service I'd expect.
TL;DR: Good service/doctors/etc, shady billing. I have mixed feelings. I went for an ACL surgery, and everything so far has been great, the service, the recovery, etc. However, they did bill more than they should. Like most healthcare, the surgery was expensive (~$82k), but I was charged only for $2k and my insurance paid the rest. A month later, I get a second bill for $250. My max out-of-pocket is $2k.
