I visited this Ortho Acute Clinic within 48 hour of my knee injury and the NP essentially told me it's "impossible" to tear my ACL playing tennis and refused to order an MRI. I then scheduled another appointment with an Ortho specialist also at Stanford who prescribed an MRI and sure it showed my ACL was torn. I like Stanford and the Ortho specialist team here and they are all very professional and knowledgable, but this acute injury program just didn't seem to be well run or perhaps the NP I saw didn't get the needed traini... read more
Please do yourself a favor and consider your options carefully before going here. I visited on Oct 10th, 2024 for an acute injury on my foot and all I received in return was a determination that my foot wasn't obviously broken after a 30 minute visit and a sizeable bill (about $1300 after insurance discounts, about $2500 before).
