I have multiple chronic pain illnesses and multiple autoimmune diseases, as well as other odd symptoms that don't line up with any of my diagnosed conditions. I have approximately 10 different specialists at Stanford and my PCP who is affiliated with Stanford. I am truly blessed to have all of the amazing doctors I have. They all spend time with me, answer any question or concerns I have, and work together to manage all of my issues. I recently had surgery and the hospital staff was amazing too. I would highly recommend Stan... read more
They knew I was a 4 hour drive to Stanford. They did 6 appointments in one day. This speeds up my Cancer Surgery.
I want to thank Dr. Steffner and his staff. Also the nurse's and staff of the orthopedics department. I just wish the stay was a little more inviting. And communication towards me and my wife was better. Thanks again Mr. And misses mills
I didn't just land on the roof of Stanford - I landed into very gifted hands, hearts and minds. I cannot say enough about the staff and care I received for 7 days following an accident. Top notch and no doubt one of the greatest facilities in the country. Thank you
Very friendly with the only negative so far being the lack of knowledge of some of the care givers in helping you find locations within this huge facility. I also have concerns about the patient and then family and communicating with so many different caregivers. This seems to be a problem throughout the medical profession and notes on the computer help, but the personal up front communications still are a problem. The ICU area is an exception to this problem and they are outstanding at their care.
The pain management team in the hospital has been useless. The surgeons and nurses have been excellent!
Best , best in the world . Best doctor best nurse , everything is best To much care , everything is perfect
You guys HAVE TOOOOO many travel nurses. Almost 200 at any given time at the hospital. It's really sad when there are plenty of nurses in the Bay area who have applied for OVER A YEAR and got nowhere with you all. Instead of investing in local nurses you all get travels nurses so you don't pay out benefits. You use that crap agency American Mobile Healthcare. travel nurses. I will NEVER give you a dime.
I had a tumor on my thumb & it was a successful surgery! Thank God! All the DR's (my Ortho Surgeon, Dr. Avedian), Nurses, & staff were outstanding! I arrived 30 min early for my surgery check-in but they still took care of me. They were prompt with the surgery times! Nurses & DR's showed extreme attentiveness & professionalism. They all showed passion for their work & compassion to their patients! I loved how they kept my hubby in the loop & told him my status. Checked-out as they estimated, too! Thank you, Stanford!
