Elaine at the GI department in Walnut Creek is soo rude. She tells me there’s an appointment available same day at 12:40 and then puts me on hold to verify with someone and comes back and says that same day appointments are not allowed and then I explain to her that the lady I spoke to last was able to give me a same day appointment because my appointment was rescheduled due to the doctor not being in that day and she hangs up the phone while I’m talking. Took my 7 month old baby boy in for a head shape check. The nurse practitioner who saw him was Camly Slawson. His pediatrician said his head was improving, but Ms. Slawson rated it a severe 100, which I honestly don’t agree with and I’m now seeking a second opinion. At the end of the visit, she even commented that my baby looks cuter from the front than the back, which was unprofessional and hurtful. Camly was a great nurse practitioner, really spent the time and explained in detail. Would recommend.
My daughter has had to go here once a year for the last ~4 years. Always a good experience when we go! Professional and friendly staff. Our most recent visit with Dr. Grady was great!! He was so great with our shy/scared toddler and made her laugh multiple times. My daughter had such a good experience - she’s saying she wants to go back to the doctors.
So far my interaction with the receptionist was the opposite to friendly. Her name was Nadine and keep talking and talking asking questions to a point that I was not longer sure if I was really making an appointment for my daughter or was a collection company. I asked her to slow down and she started to go super slow and made me feel insulted. Judging for all the mixed reviews most probably I will cancel the appointment. I'm not feeling comfortable at this point to trust my daughter health to this practice.
