Turned out the problem was dust and dirt in the vents, restricting ventilation, and they cleaned everything up effectively in under two hours. This was their 2nd visit, the 1st appointment was to diagnose why the A/C was not cooling properly thus I appreciated their comprehensive follow-up.
I brought my portable A/C in for a second opinion because it wasn't cooling properly. Their professional was more thorough and found a clogged filter that the other company didn’t see. Repair was completed in within an hour and I appreciated the thorough explanation of the problem.
It was time for the yearly A/C unit preventive maintenance. They were right on schedule, cleaned the filters and checked the coolant levels in about an hour. They were thorough, even pointing to the last service record as an example of their consistent attention to detail.
The job took about three hours, which seemed reasonable given they had to carefully reattach several panels after adjusting the ventilation system. A few days on, airflow in the room is noticeably better, and there's no sign of the previous draft issue.
Vents cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
