Every day, Stamey's Pitmasters come in before the sun to light the fire and start cooking that famous barbecue, a backbreaking process that can take nine to ten hours. Had lunch delivered to me and all the girls at work. Got the delivery and once we begin going through the order noticed it was the wrong order. Jeff immediately called and told me he thought he had given me the wrong order, for us to keep the order and he would be right back with our order! For more than 50 years Stamey’s has been the place to go for barbecue when I’m in Greensboro. From growing up there and even when I moved away...each and every time I’m in Greensboro I have to stop by and have some Stamey’s. I actually don’t ever eat BBQ anywhere...I just wait until the next time I’m in Greensboro to get “my fix”.
Service was super super fast and super super good
Best BBQ in town. Establish back in the 1930’s. Being operated by 4th generation family.
Enjoying it today in Florida! Love it even after it’s been frozen. Amazing flavor!!!
