Took a friend to ER, arrived at 8:15 am, waited almost 3 hours for a blanket and meds that were supposed to be given. Had to have an IV, was poked more than necessary. Nurses were so loud, we could hear gossip they were talking about their patients. They didn't have correct information on hand after filling out paperwork.. Saff were unsure of what was happening. Not an overall good experience in the least. Total time in ER was 4.5 hrs.
The only thing that was good about this hospital was the nurse, he was very kind and caring. Other than that, this hospital and the doctor was horrible. I complained of abdominal pain and normally any doctor would instantly do an ultrasound, x-rays, etc. Not just blood and urine, then send you home!! How lame.
My wife and I recently had a baby here. I would like to thank the staff in the Birthing centre they are amazing. Kate, Darlene and Barbara are were a godsend. This is our first child and suffice it to say we knew nothing about what we were about to go through. These three amazing Women quickly alleviated all our fears. They made this an amazing experience. When the time comes for our next child we will definitely be coming back.
Rude and inconsiderate staff in the ED. Nurse never even took vital signs on a critically ill child. I would recommend no one ever go here. You are better and safer to drive to Pueblo or Colorado Springs. There care has drastically deteriorated. They are more concerned with how long it take to get a person into and out of the ED, than they are with actual treatment. Please use another medical agency.
This place is disgusting doesn't even deserve a star. Been there 2 times the past 2 days. Both rooms I was in had blood drops all over the floor. No wonder people get staff here!
The hospital is ok for broken bones stitches etc. For life or death situations I would choose a different hospital.
