The wait time sucked. We were barely seen. Almost didn't get the medication my son needed, the only reason we got it was because I reminded the nurse.
I recently had to have surgery at STMH. I would recommend this hospital to everyone! No one wants to have to go to the hospital, but I wasn't even nervous knowing Dr. Yu was performing my surgery. The anesthesiologists (Richard and Laura) listened to my concerns and provided extra care that have worked with prior surgeries. After surgery, the nurses (Cindy, Rosetta,and Laura) and CNA's (Linda and Ann) anticipated my needs before I even reached for the call light. I had a great experience at St Thomas More. The nurses were very in tune with all my needs and so was my doctor. I've had 2 surgeries at that hospital and don't regret it at all
Excellent facility with phenomenal staff! I was scheduled to check-in at 10:30am for surgery and was in the OR within an hour. The staff is very caring and attentive. The food is restaurant quality. If I hadn't of just had surgery I would think I was at a spa retreat!
Being fair: this took place summer of 2015. Yet, also said once an experience like this occurs it's not easily forgotten. Took a senior neighbor of ours to the ER with crippling stomach cramps and profusely vomiting. The only employee, aside from the ER physician, who was professional was the volunteer who went to fetch a wheelchair noticing I was basically carrying a 170lb man to the admissions are (and it was a volunteer who was a senior lady).
