One of the worst environments to be employed or in need of medical care. St. Peter's health partners is owned by Trinity health systems. Poorly trained and underpaid employees make up a majority of the work force. Supervisors and managers have poor leadership skills. I would not recommend this health system to any person.
I had surgery yesterday and the nurses were fabulous as well as the reception desk and other employees. They kept my family up to date with information regarding my progress. They definitely made me feel safe and my family comfortable with making sure they were up to date with my progress. Only thing I would change is at discharge. Waiting for a wheelchair took forever I was able to walk and finally told them that I'm walking didn't want to wait any longer. Waited 45 minutes and still no wheelchair to be walked out. My husband had OP surgery. The nurses, doctors and surgery desk receptionist were all great !
The gentleman who put the Holter Monitor on my son was very nice, funny and professional.
