I had an amazing experience as a recent patient at St. Mary’s. It all started with some chest pains in October. A stress test was arranged, a detailed explanation followed and cardiac catheterization was scheduled to gain more definitive information. Dr. John Phelan performed the catheterization. (He’s performed over 16,000 of these procedures!) While news of the results wasn’t good, I was in the perfect place to hear it. I needed bypass surgery and I needed it very soon. Dr. Phelan introduced me to Dr. Alfred Nicolosi, who ... read more

I had a baby girl almost 2 months ago now, and she was born only 4lbs 14oz. She was full term at 39wks and 4days. I had no complications during the pregnancy. But somehow towards the end of my pregnancy I guess she just wasn’t getting enough nutrients. So she ended up getting an IV and also had problems with her blood sugar being extremely low. Now this was my first pregnancy and all I can say is I hope and wish that no one has to go through what we did. I had such a sad and horrible first experience and it was all because o... read more

I just want to say I had surgery Juky 23rd which ended in some bad complications. Meaning I had to have a 2nd surgery to fix some holes to stop leaking. I was on the 7th floor. Room 7631. The WHOLE nursing and CNA staff became another family to me. They cared for me so much for my 2 week stay. Made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed and wanted. It was more than a job to them. We got to know each other on personal levels, like my dogs. A HUGE shout of to the nurses on level 7 named Jen, Aleen, Lee, Charisse, and a few more!! CNAS... read more

Pediatrics took good care of my baby girl, who was sick with some kind of stomach flu and severely dehydrated, with potential appendicitis. She left feeling 200% better, smiling, all hydrated, blood sugar levels great, and no appendicitis. Thanks!
