I'll start off with i understand things happen and appointments can be rescheduled for normal doctor visits but to tell someone you are going to be induced at this day and time is a big deal to me. That's something you schedule your whole life around. Child care, work, family from out of state also having to plan the same. The midwife staff is excellent and supportive. This was a much better birthing experience than UT Hospital which is absolutely terrible in every single way. Absolulety 4-5 stars for most of the nurses, midwives, and doctors at Tennova, they are true servants. You can read other positive reviews about the staff elsewhere. But my review is regard to their billing department and management. I have to routinely dispute fraudulent charges for services not rendered and duplicate billing. I've been seeing Dr. Rebecca Brown for years. I never wanted to switch providers until recently. I would give a zero star rating if Google would allow me. I went in for annual appointment like normal and was treated terribly by my doctor. I was told to wait in the room, and someone would be back to tell me my test results and if I had any further questions. I waited almost an hour. I waited so LONG that the office CLOSED. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tennova North for my prenatal care and labor and delivery! Prenatally I felt Dr. Brabson’s midwives were very well researched, warm and friendly on a personal level. They would listen to my concerns, answer my questions and pivot care according to my special requests without giving any pushback. Every time I left an appointment, I felt more peace of mind then before which was a new experience for me. I am currently ten weeks postpartum and just wanted to share my experiences. Overall I would recommend this office for prenatal care . Getting set up with the first appointment was easy albeit a bit of a wait . The receptionist was quite friendly as well . Downside is the office is within in an office . It’s hard to describe but not their fault . I had primarily been going to NP Leslie Stone and she was AMAZING . She made my first pregnancy so enjoyable .
