I truly cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Tennova during my labor, delivery, and postpartum! Midwife Amy attended my delivery and did an incredible job explaining everything to me in real time, making sure I understood what was happening, and assuring to ask for my consent every step of the way. I not only felt empowered, but respected and cared for. I’ve had the best experiences with this office from the first time I came here and met Dr Brabson. He’s truly the best. I’ve also seen the other drs midwives and NPs at this office and everyone is great. You’re in the best of hands here
Until today I have had positive experiences here. I’ve seen Antonia Roberts and I like her. I’ve also heard wonderful things about dr Toney. Today I had a medical emergency and I was grateful that this practice squeezed me in. I saw dr Brabson. He is a very nice man with good bedside manner. He was easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. My only concern, which is kind of a big deal, is that her performed a procedure on me that should have required lidocaine- with nothing. We switched half way through our pregnancy and appreciated the care we received from the Midwives, Dr. Brabson, and staff at Women’s Health! Even had an appointment with Shannan the day I went into labor spontaneously, confirmed I was in labor, and it made getting admitted several hours later so easy. I felt championed by the Midwives and when I needed a c-section due to my baby’s heart rate, Dr. Brabson and his team did a great job taking care of me. I’m so grateful for my experience!
I'll start off with i understand things happen and appointments can be rescheduled for normal doctor visits but to tell someone you are going to be induced at this day and time is a big deal to me. That's something you schedule your whole life around. Child care, work, family from out of state also having to plan the same. I got rescheduled the first time, ok i was very upset but I dealt with it. Called the next day and was told they didnt have any space for me and had no idea when they would be able to get me in.
