The ER time was less than expected, and the staff were all excellent
I want to thank the amazing staff at St. Mary's Hospital in the PHIU! Staff like Ola and Lyn , Mihaela, Jovana(way beyond helpful) and Debbie! Just some of the staff that went above and beyond to help me, and in my experience, outstanding, professional caring people! An example of the kind of people all hospitals should have! Thank you!
Came here for a scheduled CT bone scan of my left knee and leg. After entering behind the curtain room with scanner before we could even speak we were insulted by the little black girl/kid working there ? She insulted me and my mother 3 times !!! Why would you have a little immature kid working in a professional public hospital as a technician ? We were completely stunned and did not even respond out of shock ! I was at St. Mary's today 03\10\2025 for an outpatient appointment which lasted about 3 hrs. and some of that time under anesthesia. I found everyone from reception to the doctor and all those in-between to be kind, helpful and thorough. Thank you to you all. Kirk McBride Waterloo,
Somehow our experience is very different than other reviewers. Yes, there was long wait time. But it is mainly due to the shortage of doctors and medical professionals in Ontario. Comparing to the Walk-in clinics and our family doctor, we had much better experience at the St Mary's hospital Emergency. We were taken care by a doctor, 5 nurses and the professionals at the labs. Really, no issues and they were all attentive, polite and friendly. But of course, they all over work. Suggest that we need to be fair to the hospital ... read more
