Landon West, Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department is excellent. Exceptionally kind and caring, passionate about medicine, and so thorough. Made sure I was comfortable during the length of my wait in the ER and discharged me early instead of having me wait for lab results. Took the time to explain my medical situation in detail and was happy to answer any questions. He was everything you’d want from a clinician during an ER visit. Would be happy to come back and see him again (but hopefully won’t need to!)
Care is dependent entirely on the doctor. Went in with back/hip pain Saturday which the doctor (Baljit) only interested in ruling out kidney stones. Had an ultrasound Sunday morning and after a brutal night of pain and vomit, Dr Tong actually cared to listen that perhaps it wasn't a Kidney stone but a herniated disc. It's a roll of the dice, hopefully your result is good. Patients who get doctor Tong are in good hands.
Years ago I ended up here in some horrendous geriatric unit when I asked to see an infectious disease physician. Continue to use Us healthcare as a result to this date because it is safe and effective.
