My husband needed immediate outpatient surgery. The ER was very efficient and the staff was excellent. We were in the ER long enough to sign in. Then an ER nurse (Megan)came and took us to our room the nurse did computer work took vitals and within 10 minutes Dr. Silverman came in. I went to the St. Mark's ER in Taylorsville with kidney stones. I received very poor treatment and unnecessary tests so they could charge me for them. I was left unattended in a room in pain. Then I was told to leave before the stone had passed. Then they sent me a bill for over $9,000. I will never go to this place again. I will risk death rather than go here.
We just got home from a four day stay there due to my fiance having an abscess from spinal surgery they took amazing care of us very nice and helpful thank you soo much
I was traveling through town and needed emergency outpatient surgery. I have never gotten into a room, processed and seen by a doctor in this short time, ever! The staff made me comfortable, made sure all of my questions were answered, told me about the options I had and listened / followed my wishes. If all ER's could just be half as good as yours!!
I've had 6 surgeries done at St marks and always had the best of care.
Always a pleasure here they found my problem when no one Could Dr.Mark Oliver us Great! Then they helped Mom in 2012 so thankful for their help again in 2014. now my brother is here looking forward to more help. They saved my life I had a whole team 6 different stays at hospital. Finally came here and they saw my problem first thing The other hospital had a whole team and found nothing I had almost given up!
Seriously wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone! The nurse and the doctor who delivered my baby were absolutely amazing! However the nicu nurses are a joke. They make you feel so low. I've had 3 premature kids, This isn't my first rodeo so degrading me and making me feel and look dumb is sad! I've had nurses dirty look me and say terrible things about me to other nurses thinking I didn't hear them. Went to their pain clinic for a shot in my back. Was charged $3500 for an operating room. This was not an operating room. It was a broom closet with a bed in it. Ten minutes for the shot, 15 minutes sitting in a recliner and I was done. Total charges $4200. They recommend the shots every 3 months. It will take me over a year to pay off the balance. Will never use Dr. David Bryd or Saint Marks Hospital again. What a joke!
Went here over the weekend due to really bad stomach pains and th experience could not have been better. No wait time in the ER, everyone who I talked to was so friendly! It turned out I needed to have my gallbladder removed and I met with the surgeon beforehand, he explained everything so thoroughly and answered all questions I had. They really are the best!
