The original church was built on the farm of Governor Peter Stuyvesant in 1660 and later destroyed. This replacement was erected in 1799 and is one of the oldest churches in the city. Subsequently, the attached steeple was added in 1828 and the cast-iron portico around 1858. The tacos are particularly good, each on a single soft corn tortilla, and the fillings are profuse, whether you select the odiferous barbacoa, the oily picadillo, or deep-fried pescado.
Got tacos with chorizo, lamb and beef tongue, they were all super good.
carnitas tacos and guac are all you need.

Great tacos,margs, and everything else. From the west coast and this is my favorite place for Mexican food!

The margaritas are made with freshly squeezed lime juice and are the best!
The fish taco was quite good. Good guacamole. Stiff margs. Homemade chips. Maybe the best for sit down Mexican food in NYC.
