I sat for 4 hours without my meds and I was in massive pain, I was having an anxiety attack. I sat for 3 days and they did exactly what I already do at home. They wouldn't give me some of my home meds and I take my meds at a certain time every day and I told them what times. My body is used to certain pills at the exact time and I explained that to them and they were always late on my RLS med which lasts exactly 24 hours. When I went home they had my system all messed up and I suffered for 3 days because of it.
I wouldn't choose any other hospital. I have had two surgeries and several random tests done here and have been impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of all staff. Even to simply be walking down the hallway, I was greeted with smiles and offers of assistance in finding my way. I had a surgical complication that caused a bit of a mess and extra work for the nurses but they never made me feel like a burden and reassured me that it was no problem at all. Yesterday was the 3rd procedure I've had done at IVCH, and I couldn't be happier. The Doctors, nurses, and staff went above and beyond to ensure I was properly cared for. I would recommend IVCH to anyone with medical needs.
Lab results never seem to make it to my out of town specialist, even though I verify registration AND lab are aware of the fax number. I've been requesting copies to this doc for over two years and the name and fax number still aren't on file?! Plus, lab results are not made available on Relay Health portal, without repeated requests made for them to be. I was told to sign up for IVCH Medical Group portal but the labs aren't showing there, either. Dr. Cote is the reason I stay at IVCH.

I gave birth to my son on 3/25/2017. I honestly cannot even find the words to describe how amazing the entire health care team was on the OB floor!! I will forever be in debt to them for their quick thinking and actions, kind words, and encouragement through a very tough labor!! This group is absolutely amazing!!!
