I do not recommend anyone get a pelvic exam from Dr. Abbruzzi. I had the worst most painful pelvic exam in my entire life with her. I'm still in pain almost a week later and wouldn't want any woman to feel like this. She didn't consider my comfort or experience at all. I feel completely disregarded and disrespected. Im very upset to have to leave this review bc I absolutely love Dr. Abbruzzi. If she sees this i hope she knows its no reflection on her. As a medical assistant myself, I try not to complain, I dont want to be one of those patients that dont realize that we are human and we all make mistakes. But this i had to address. I had a very uncomfortable and concerning experience with Dr Willis during a breast exam. There was no female chaperone present, and rather than examining one side at a time as is standard, he opened my robe entirely. The technique he used involved full-handed pressure and movement that felt excessive and medically unnecessary.
