I called my doctorâs office after they declined to refill a prescription Iâve taken for years without going in for a needless visit. I donât feel safe going anywhere I donât have to in the middle of an uncontrolled pandemic. âItâs perfectly safeâ they told me. I wanted to know how they could make such a claim. âWe ask anyone making an appointment if theyâve travelled recently. I witnessed a sexual assault, I reported it and asked for the police to be called. My request was not only denide but when I tried to call 911 the phone was cut off. The poor girl was left alone crying. The offender was a registered sex offender. The hospital failed to protect her. They think they are the Catholic Church. Ignore it and it will go away.Â
System of all calls going to a central booking is insanity. Thatâs the price you pay as a Dr. who joined any Network hospital including St Lukeâs. These are the patient decisions you have lost. Your patients are unable to contact you, despite your being on call. My Chart limit on message size also ridicules. Whatâs the point?Â
