I was brought to the emergency room where I found out that I was a diabetic and my glucose was over 700- if it wasn't for the doctors and nurses at the Saint Lucie Medical Center /ER.. I wouldn’t come back to this place if I was on fire. They treated my seven year old like trash! Not only is he last to be seen when we arrived first, but this little boy is out of it and with a full body rash. But walks in with a bruise on his knee and is seen first smh. Be prepared to share your info in the hallway and have tests ran in the open for everyone to watch you hmm this seems like a HIPPA violation 🤦🏼♀️ then have them throw you in a dirty room when you complain about a hallway! Quick response, knowledgeable, kind and caring.
From the lack of knowledge in the ER, to the less then helpful front desk (Joy) to the charge nurses on the floor will not mention names as family member is still currently a patient at this time. This hospital try’s anything for a quick fix and wants to know how you will be paying for services before they even have a clue what is wrong with the patient. The oath to heal the patient obviously is not allowed in this facility. Get them in, get them out and collect the cash. Absolutely disgusting!
This hospital is clean. the nurses and doctors are beyond brilliant. The food is good. and I will be using this hospital for as long as I live in Stuart. Thank you.
Had to use the ER services. at the hospital . I required stitches and everyone I had contact with was kind and caring. Everyone was very pleasant when they interacted with me. They were efficient and worked as quickly as they could to get me in and out.
Nurses are great but very bad discharge experience
Took my husband to Darwin ER today and received top notched care from Dr McKinney and Rio. 5 stars all the way!
