I found a tube full of blood from another patient in my son's bed, when I brought it to the attention of my son's nurse she stated oh we leave those in the room in case we need to draw blood quickly from patients, I said really with other patients names on them. She took it from me in a hurry giving me that look, I said I hope that patient wasn't discharged without knowing what was wrong with her. I have to say SLMC has greatly improved their ER Dept. The doctors and staff were amazing with my son last night. They brought him straight back and we had 2 doctors and nurses in with him immediately. We originally went to Martin ER in SLW and sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half while they brought patients back that were outside smoking before my very sick son. I left and brought him across town to SLMC my only regret was not leaving Martin sooner.
I went to port st lucie medical center today.. they were very helpful with my issue. I had a very nice conversation with the orderly named Michael. Oh and Michael yes i would help u with the touch ups on your house.. thank you for being so kind today.. i would recommend this hospital to others..
Unfortunately, I've spent quite a lot of time at SLMC in the last few months, but each visit, I've had a good experience. My doctors and especially my nurses have all been wonderful. Housekeeping always kept my rooms clean, the cafeteria staff ensured I was eating proper food that wouldn't interact with my medication. Nurses were very sanitary and the entire staff had great attention to detail. I felt that I was in good hands. I definitely recommend SLMC if you find yourself needing to go to the hospital. was in there yesterday with my 5 year old. everyone was considerate concerned and amazing. did a very thorough check on him. I even received a phone call after to ask how he was doing. I've never had any issues with this place or any of the staff. my husband's been hospitalized here before as well and was very well taken care of. I have no complaints so far.
The staff was so nice, and made me comfortable. They explained to me my medications and told me what they were for. Good job St. Lucie Medical Center.
We were seen right away, all the staff from the nurses to the doctor super nice and attentive to my 4month old! Really clean, we were out in an hour with xrays and everything! Thank you very much for your service
