Once we got out of the ER the staff was great! All the staff on the neurology floor where my daughter has spent the last week were absolutely wonderful. I only rate it a 4 due to one ER doctor who was condescending and not caring at all and the several times I had to track down a nurse just to help us.
It's never fun being in the hospital It's even less fun when it's your child who is sick or in pain. I've personally observed how much the doctors, nurses and staff really care. Sometimes you have to speak up for your child... Sometimes listening is the best medicine and knowing everyone shares the goal of getting your kid better. Note of thanks to the entire staff on 8 WEST!
I got there with my nephew and they saw us right away. He also has sickle cell�
