We just spent a week at Children's due to acute bronciolitis and fever from 3 different viral infections in my 2 month old. Everyone was knowledgeable and kind, constantly offering help and getting anything I needed. I had one nurse get me scrubs to sleep in and a tech stayed with my baby to get her back to sleep so I could go have dinner with my 3 year old. I have never once had an issue with this hospital, up until tonight....as we left My son's 6 hour infusion tonight, I asked the 2nd floor guard for a parking pass. He gave me the dirtiest look and did the same to my son as he sat in the wheelchair. He then said "you should have gotten it upstairs and you need to hand over your floor sticker on your jacket! Are you sure you were even a patient?!" When I'm made to feel like I'm a liar about my sons treatment, I feel insulted! That wasn't fair to myself and dang sure wasnt fair... read more

My son has been going there ever since he was diagnosed with Type I diabetes four years ago. The doctors were excellent in explaining to us what was going on and how to handle the day to day needs of a diabetic. They made sure we knew what we were doing before we could leave the hospital, and made sure we had home health lined up for the first few weeks after we came home since we live a couple hours away. The staff is always very helpful and go the extra mile. Spent a lot of time there the past 9 months and have had done nurse who we did not like and one time got in a room that hadn't been completely cleaned yet. Bath room was dirty. Other than that have been great to us. Been there at least 10 times during this time wouldn't want to take my grandson anywhere else.

My 4 month old granddaughter had open-heart surgery yesterday. There are not enough positive things I could say about the people I've encountered thus far at the Children's Hospital. God bless you all!

Would NEVER dream of having any surgery for my son anywhere else. Best surgeon, best nurses. Very caring and attentive. Can't thank them enough for making my son feel so good. He even asked "mom why are these people so nice?!"
