My grandson, Jeremiah, was born almost 10 weeks premature. They did their best at Lakeland Regional but we were losing him. Jeremiah was taken by ambulance to St Joseph's Women's Hospital and within an hour of him being there things started changing for the better. He has made steady progress ever since. Thank you so much to the wonderful doctors and nurses who are there for Jeremiah round the clock to give him the best possible care. We are forever grateful. <3
I really want to give St. Joseph's a five star review because our nurses, techs, and doctors were all amazing. The lactation specialist they sent to us was great and we felt very cared for by the staff. So why am I giving it 3 stars? I gave birth to my daughter on a Friday night and spent the subsequent weekend in the maternity ward. I have celiac disease and my husband and I were told on our tour that the hospital could accommodate a gluten free diet and any other dietary needs. We found this to be far from the truth. I loved it!! I stayed there a total of 5weeks!! Amazing nurses!! And they took care of my baby boy in the nicu for 5 days...
This was my 2nd pregnancy here and I love the hospital and staff everyone is so helpful and so nice. Very understanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else to give birth. First pregnancy here was back in 08. I knew this time around where I wanted to do when the day came. I have recommended this hospital to family and friends.
