I went to the women care hospital on March 23, 2020 for triage service. After signed in, I asked the nurse how much the ER visit cost on average, she told me it will roughly be around thousand dollars. I immediately decided to leave without getting any service. Today I called the Baycare Billing Department, they already billed me for a service that was never rendered. The bill was around one thousand dollars, and it was just for entering the ER. I’ve always had an appreciation for nurses, but with being in the hospital for so long, it’s been brought to another level. The nurses here have kept me sane during this hard time (I’ve been here for 3 weeks and I’m getting induced Monday). They’re attentive, friendly, super sweet and they obviously care about their patients above and beyond their jobs. The NICU Dr.’s don’t listen about family history and push regular formula on a baby who has lactose intolerance in the family. For babies that may have a heart condition they blame being a preemie or other conditions for while a baby is sleeping too long instead of getting the right medication soon enough. When parents convey other concerns they are dismissed and it turns out that my daughter had infantile spasms since the nicu and I was told it was something else! Absolutely exceptional care! Every doctor, nurse, tech, and housekeeping worker was above par in regards to friendliness and cleanliness. I was always completely informed of what was going on and don't feel like I waited around for new news at all. My husband and I were very pleased.
had my 2nd son via repeat c section and I swear everything went smooth. everybody from check in to pre op to or room to recovery to my suite...everyone was professional and great bed side manner. plus I loves the room service food. I definitely will go back to have another child
