I just want to send a shout out to the entire St. Joseph's Women's hospital team that took extra care of me this week. Amazing team, amazing group of women, pst's, nurses, and dr.'s. Major sx is not easy but when you have amazing people caring for you it makes a world of a difference. Just wanted to take a quick second and brag on the incredible birthing experience we just had at SJW. Becky Wagner in L&D and Amanda Rose as well with her magical CUB birthing pillow. Not to mention, Dr Michael Stine and the Lifetime group. They made us feel incredibly comfortable and like family. They answered any and all questions while encouraging and facilitating a safe and unrushed birth of our beautiful baby girl. Today a child’s mother was escorted off the property of St Jose Hospital by 2 security officers and a tampa bay police officer for making several demands to nursing staff to provide the scheduled medications to her son, whom just under went a second brain surgery yesterday. He has been the ICU for 3 weeks now. The nursing staff forgot to administer his medications again. The child’s mother also reports that the hospital is failing to communicate to her and is doing unnecessary procedures to her son without her consent. She r... read more
I was admitted at 24 weeks and 3 days for preterm labor. I spent a few days in labor and delivery and then spent a little over a week in the high risk wing. I had my twin boys at 26 weeks to the day. My boys are now in the NICU and are doing great so far. I can not thank everyone at St. joes women’s enough for taking such great care of me but most importantly taking such great care of my babies. Absolutely the most amazing hospital there is with the most amazing staff you can possibly imagine. Thank you times infinity ��
