Couldn't get up because I was in so much pain, was taken to the ER by the EMR. After arrivin they were busy but I didn't wait too long to be seen. I can't remember the RN name that was helping me, she was amazing including the person who did my MRI. The RN cared about me where she didn't allow the person to draw blood because she didn't want me to get poked too many times and drew blood through the IV herself. The people who work there are wonderful. We ended up spending 20 hours there and everyone from the ER to surgery to the cafeteria were so kind.
I went to the ER room at another hospital complaining of abdominal pains. While there, I was scheduled for a CT Scan to help determine what the problem was. Once done, I tried to get off the scanner table and on to the geurney. Suddenly I had difficulty breathing and some chest pains. They determined that I should be seen by a cardiologist and should be transferred to SJMC. I arrived and was placed in a room in CICU. They took very good care of me even when I complained that I was hungry but couldn't have anything to eat. I ... read more
