If you have an emergency go somewhere else. They don’t care if your appendix is about to burst. Poor service from a horribly managed hospital

In the last 6 months I have been in 4 different hospitals for cardiac problems the staff has always been the best out of them all.

I had originally been told by my physician that my 5 day old, premature infant would have to be admitted to mease countryside for jaundice treatment at a follow up upon his discharge from Morton plant Clearwater. However, I was instructed instead by Morton plant Clearwater to go through mease countryside ER in order to be admitted. There is NO separation of covid-19 patients from other ER visits, which put my baby and I, who are high risk, in severe danger of contracting the virus. I have written this post over and over again in my mind and I still don't know if I have the words to explain my disappointment and my disgust with my mother's care while here over this last week. From the minute she was admitted, it seemed like the nurses were bothered with her and were downright nasty with her and with me. some of the sweetest persons, the nurses, pcts, lab workers and the physicians. All have been wonderful... environment is calming and staff is amazing. Loved my experience
