After the diagnosis of a brain tumor I had a craniotomy and experienced a light stroke. In a few days I had a bowel perforation and required emergency surgery. EVERYONE I came in contact with were supportive and encouraging during my first 112 day stay and eight monthly visits for a week while receiving chemo. St. Joseph’s staff helped me heal, learn to walk again, and have hope for my future. I love them all.

I was told repeatedly that my mother would be in good hands throughout a very difficult experience. While most of the staff treated her well, there was a certain incident where my mother was left alone for a stress test, dealing with a heart issue, after she was told she would be monitored during this test. I waited a while for the customer service survey from the hospital to come in, and yet, we never recieved it. I just wish bedside manners had been better implimented. normally don't review hospitals because I know how hard the staff work to take care of everyone but in this case I have to make an exception the cross contamination that I saw at the hospital's aren't acceptable the cleanliness of the ER is unacceptable vents where the air should be clean looks like they have not been cleaned in months the children's area did not show things have been wiped down would give this hospital an Fail score. please correct I know you can do better.
