I did the 2 day first aid course with Nikki. I feel like I learned lots and the classroom was so welcoming and she did a really good job of making sure everyone was comfortable :) If I have to take the course again, I’d be happy to do it w her again
Recently took the Advanced First Aid course at this location. A lot to take in over two weeks, yet with good direction and instruction, I felt like I walked away with a wealth of knowledge. Had Nikki as instructor. Thought she did a great job at explaining and teaching the course; as well as navigating the challenges of directing a group of strangers in a close, compact and intense course. Second course I take at this location. Would recommend as the place to take your first aid courses in Victoria.
The training, the methodology, and the professionalism of its instructors makes it a great place to learn, thank you.
Nikki was an absolutely wonderful First Aid instructor at St. John Ambulance on Douglas Street in Victoria, BC. She was so sweet, welcoming, and genuinely supportive from the start. I have taken dozens of First Aid courses over a span of 25 years through St John Ambulance. My most recent experience was less than stellar. I booked a course for a re-certification. My family had a unexpected death and I tried to reschedule the class 10 Days before the date of the course (As I would not be able to make it ). Not only did they charge me a cancellation fee but I was forced to rebook right away even though I was unsure of the dates I could attend. This only added to a already stressful time.
