RecommendedWe enjoyed the history of the hotel. The wood work, tin ceilings and stone/ brick walls were beautiful. The beds were comfortable, the sheets soft and rooms clean. It would have been nice to have a fridge but we were fine. I would have loved to see some of the other rooms since they are all decorated differently. Fun stay, we enjoyed the self guided walking tour.
We’ve been coming here at least twice a year and absolutely love it......great restaurant and love Jimmys Pub!
The hangar steak was delicious.
Gorgeous architecture rich with local history. Food was great, Jimmy’s bar is classic. Only a few minor service issues at breakfast and with our room kept this from being 5 stars. Overall though we loved it. Booked our room months in advance and we were given the room we asked for. Red Wing itself is a local gem that takes you back to the days of 19th century river town charm. Lots of amenities for a smaller hotel.

Krista was the best at The Veranda, and the accommodations were fantastic for the bridal brunch being hosted!!!

We were so impressed by everything. We were greeted warmly by the front desk.Our room was spacious, clean & quiet. We thought the bed was super comfortable. Loved the extra touch with the bathrobes too. I loved the bldg itself with the character, history & decor.
