Service was very slow. All we had were three drinks and some cheese curds. Took almost an hour. Then there were no napkins or utensils. By the time our server got them we were finished eating.
Beautiful room with a view of the river. Bed was comfortable. Great place to stay!
Fantastic, friendly service, old world charm and high quality linens. Best eggs Benedict I've had in years at the Veranda. Wonderful stay!

Cool history, and nice hotel. However the room we stayed in had so many patterns, and the floors slanted so I was dizzy and disoriented. The shower went from warm to cold in less than a minute. I'd maybe try it again. However the food was good, and the bartender in the fifth floor bar was amazing! Wish I knew her name, she defiantly deserves credit for her fantastic service. I was bummed that the basement restaurant wasn't open on Sunday night.
RecommendedWe had dinner and spend some time on the outdoor patio. Patio is very nice with tables and umbrellas. Great fire table surrounded with padded furniture. Dinner was tasty, although the menu was limited. Overall, a great place.
Great hotel and the food is excellent. Best stop down and have a martini with Elouise, or maybe Mary Lou. Either way have the lady bartender with the spiky white hair make you the best martini around to cap off the evening.
A place I love & go to over & over again with my mom! Good food, great view eating on the terrace, & Mother's Day Buffet was absolutely awesome! Huge selection of good food & Deserts, along with a beautiful view with a huge curved window encasing the whole dining room. No matter where you sat, you had a beautiful view!
