Recommendedthe staff were friendly, caring and responsive. The room had a great view.
when i went to give birth, it took them an hour to get me a room. we changed rooms 3 times while I was there. they tried giving me fentanyl for pain and when I told them I needed to push, they ignored me for almost an hour while my daughters head was stuck in my birth canal. they treated me horribly and couldn't even hold my leg up for me. after my epidural the nurse told me if I locked my legs, I would be able to walk to my bed. RecommendedMy husband was admitted to ER on Tuesday and released today-Saturday. The ER doctors, nurses and staff were wonderful. Bart’s ER nurses were incredible, the other nurses in the hospital where Bart was for 3 days were efficient, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We feel very fortunate and grateful to everyone at St. Elizabeth Hospital for the exceptional care my husband received.

St Francis is a death trap. I wouldn't recommend this place ever to anyone. I came in (drove myself) for a asthma attack... only to be told I have a hole in my lung. I was stabbed 3 separate times to get a chest tube in that all 3 failed and I was sitting there for hours dying before they made a decision to try the chest tube again. I swear during all of this I hear "shes dying, just let her die." I was transferred from here to st .josephs then to Harborview.
