Our uncle lived alone with no immediate family, so we relied heavily on St. Croix Hospice to guide us through the process, especially during his final days. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling unsupported and uncertain. Communication was inconsistent, with different nurses providing conflicting updates, and at times we went months without any medical-related contact.
