Whatever I write wouldn't be sufficient to explain how much I love the team and caring atmosphere here. We drive 6 hours to see neurosurgery, fetal care, and urology. Love them all!
My son was transported to Cardinal Glennon NICU on July 24, 2015 due to seizures shortly after birth. Everyone was amazing and knew how to comfort us! Everything was done as quick as possible. We stayed for an entire week and were provided with a place to sleep and had help with meals from the social worker. It was the most difficult time of our lives and we were constantly reassured. My son was an ALL patient fifteen years ago. We loved all of the Cardinal Glennon staff. The doctors, nurses, cleaning staff and cafeteria workers were all so caring. For two long years you were all part of our extended family and you all still hold a special place in our hearts. My son Skyler would check the chalk board at the nurses station upon check in to see if his favorite nurse Boots was assigned to him. I will be forever grateful for the care my Great Grandson received from the professional helicopter crew who picked him up on Sunday February 7 at St. Anthony's in Effingham Illinois till his release on February 14! His name is Tripp Michael Mason James!!! May God continue to bless your wonderful hospital and all the caring staff!
