We were there for same day surgery with our daughter. I was incredible impressed with the staff. Everyone was professional and exceptionally kind towards us and our daughter. She felt safe. There was a nurse, Kacey, that went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and was having a good time. Thank you Cardinal glennon for making our daughter and us, her parents, have a great experience during a scary time. Ps. The text updates were amazing!
Our 2 week old son was hospitalized on 2 South for 4 days and the nurses and doctors were AMAZING! They made a difficult and trying emotional time easier to deal with. They weren't only concerned for our son, but continued to ask how we were doing as well. I LOVE Cardinal Glennon. All 3 of our children see Danis Pediatrics and our daughter sees all her specialists at Cardinal Glennon.
Overall we have been very pleased with Cardinal Glennon. Our son who is 12 and half, has had all sorts of medical issues since birth. The immunologist at Cardinal finally found a problem that most doctors didn't even know to look for. We go month for treatments there (which is almost 4 hours away for us) and it's totally worth it. We also now see a rheumatologist there and have a separate surgeon there that we see for his port. I will always chose this hospital to take my boys!
Not only are the doctors and staffing, etc all awesome I had an incident that I have to share. I had 2 $50 bills folded in my pocket (which was stupid of me to do) and while waiting in the waiting room apparently it had fell out. We got called in to the room and saw the doctor and from there went to the lab. That is when I realized I had lost it! We had an appointment with a dr here today and I was not overjoyed with the service. We arrived very early to the appointment. We sat in the Drs office for over a half hour to see the dr for less than 5 minutes who was very obviously in a hurry. The directions were shoved at me as I was trying to help my kid off the table and not explained well to me. They put her boot on so tight it left marks when i took it off of her tonight.
