My son has been seen at Cardinal Glennon for almost a year for a dermatology issue. He had an appointment today and the doctor called him a girl not once, but twice. The doctor also acted like she wasn’t sure of his past history with the dermatology issue. I understand that this is a big hospital and the providers see a lot of patients, but it seemed like she didn’t take the time to read through his chart before the appointment. It was very unprofessional!

I'm blown away by the dumb. We have 4 kids age 19 months to 14 years old. Our kids have some health issues, so we have had our share of visits to multiple hospitals multiple times. NEVER have I had this happen. We have a family of his/hers/ours. My wife is the legal guardian to all of our kids. I was told that doesn't matter. They needed to speak to biological parent. My stepdaughter has been in the hospital with pain and they are dragging their feet. Wednesday she was told she needs her gallbladder out. They are not telling my wife anything.

My dad went to the hospital last year with a toe infection and they gave him medicine that reacted with his diabetes medicine and caused him kidney failure and a future toe amputations. If you dont have insurance, they will let u die here!

A major injury can be incredibly stressful. Especially for a child on the Spectrum. Every single doctor, nurse, receptionist, and security guard went above and beyond to make sure our child was comfortable and understood what was going on. I am so glad the Urgent Care referred us to Cardinal Glennon!
