Even though I haven't physically been in their office on Cottman Avenue, I had had to call the office a few time. During these phone calls, their staff have been nothing but compassionate, respectful, and helpful. In addition,I have been seeing Daniel Kauder ,(whom I followed to SRI from another practice) via Tele-therapy. Dan is a great therapist and is big on getting that trust level between his patients and himsef. So, I have had only good experiences with SRI.
To be fair, I've only been there once and its possible the young woman was having an off day. Within seconds of meeting I had a bad impression but tried to push past it. The entire 45mins was spent answering an intake form that is basically a questionnaire so they can label something wrong with you so "your insurance will pay". I felt like I had been required by the court to be there. I chose to go. I've been going here for many months now and it has been great! My therapist Ally is wonderful! She has helped me tremendously with anxiety and depression. I'm a much better person now and my therapy session is my favorite hour of the week. They also take my insurance (BCBS) which is awesome and right now (covid) they are doing video sessions which is very convenient. 10/10 would recommend
Don't send your child or anyone to these, so called therapists. We sent our daughter to MATTHEW WEINER and with in a few years she went from working on some problems to cutting all ties with her parents, and ending up in a mental Hospital without her family knowing at his instructions. He will not let us know if she is ok and is STILL BILLING US FOR SESSIONS! We contacted Dr. Schwartz, who is in charge and said OH WELL!
