I was so hopeful about Springs until I actually showed up there one Friday afternoon - I had a cat that needed stitches to be removed - it was a cat from a foster house, and I had no records yet, but was looking to establish a relationship with a vet. The receptionist refused to even let me make an appointment until I could find a full set of vet records for this kitty - and in fact went back to talk to the doctor (about even seeing the cat for a first visit) and the doctor on duty would not even come up front to take a look... read more
5 stars Dr. Smith is extremely charismatic and knowledgeable, but the real charm is how she makes every dog love her instantly. Our 6month old puppy is so shy around every person she meets, but with the girls in the office and especially Dr. Smith our puppy absolutely loves them. Dr. Smith sits with us for as long as it takes to answer every question, and provides very realistic options for any financial situation. Very caring and knowledgeable. Friendly and accommodating. Clean facility with snacks for dogs and their peeps. The staff all love your pets and seem to enjoy what they do. I really appreciate that Dr Smith respects the human (owner) input towards the animals’ treatment.
After our long-time vet couldn't get us in for an appointment yesterday, we decided to try another vet in Dripping Springs for our needs. She had come highly recommended by two co-workers and not for no reason. Dr. Amanda Smith and her staff were amazing, and very welcoming to our two rescue Boxers this morning. She spent considerable time with us while going over their histories of health and origin, and was extremely thorough in her exams and follow-up recommendations. We took our 6 month old, 50 pound puppy to see Dr. Smith. She was INCREDIBLE!! She spent over an hour talking with us and working with Sophie to get a sticker out from under her skin. We left with great information and a happy puppy. We highly recommend Springs Veterinary Care!!
We've taken our dogs to other vets in the Wimberley area and they just did not measure up to Springs. I love the doggy plan, but most importantly the way they're all so welcoming and kind. Time for our Lil Milo to go back for a check-up.
