Room lay out is odd. No access to sink while someone is showering or going to the bathroom. Lots of Drinking Bar in lobby. Breakfast was hit or miss; Waffle Iron is Horrible! Beds were Comfortable!!! So big plus. Elevators broke while we were there; hotel was full so it was hard for staff to keep up with towels etc…. Probably overworked and doing their best.
The GM Amanda Hazel went above and beyond for our 12u Allstate girls and are 6 U Allstate boys. We were there with our 6-year-old little boy. She accommodated everyone's needs and met far beyond expectations. She was friendly the atmosphere was friendly. She allowed our kids to be kids. They were in a stressful situation as is. We will definitely recommend SpringHill suites by Marriott each year for Allstate. You can take Amanda for that! She deserves something special! I don't even know when she gets to sleep. I stayed at this hotel June 8-10 and was subjected to breathing in excessive mold smells within two separate rooms. I informed the front desk person and the General Manager, which I the reason I was moved to two separate rooms during my stay; however, the mold problem was never resolved. I got extremely sick on the third day, had housekeeping come to my second room and confirm the smell was mold.
