Dr. Vaughan is one of the best doctor's I've ever been in contact with. I have a PPO plan so I've never run into any issues with his office, billing, etc. He always takes the time to explain everything in a kid friendly manner and very clearly loves kids. He's always thorough and always diagnoses my son correctly, unlike urgent care. I called very concerned about a misdiagnose my son received at urgent care and they squeezed me in for an appointment first thing the next morning. I won't ever take my son anywhere else.
The staff there is terrible! The nurse told us they no longer take our insurance (United Healthcare) which is a State Employee plan. Come to find out after a call to the insurance company they do. The staff in the meantime removed the two children as patients. We tried to talk to Dr. Vaughan about it asked to personally appeal to him and the staff wouldn't let us, stating the children were no longer patients of his and we couldn't talk to him! We have been very impressed with Dr Vaughan. He has seen our twin boys since they were 4 days old. We're new parents so he has been very patient and helpful. He was completely honest from day one with us that he had struggles with his front office staff and that he had recently let some of them go. We haven't had the best experience with the front office staff but they are still learning so we've given them the benefit of the doubt. Would highly recommend Dr. Vaughan.
We had our first visit yesterday and I am so happy we found Dr Vaughan. He is so nice and you can tell he cares for his patients. I will be switching my other children over as well. :)
