On May 21, 2017 around 10 p. m. Or so I was rushed to Desert Spring Hospital emergency room on Flamingo. There I was told I had a very large cyst on my right ovary and needed to be transported to another hospital in which Spring Valley was chosen. I arrived at Spring Valley around midnight or a little after and I was rushed right into emergency surgery. Surgeons Kord Strebel was on duty that night. Can’t get your own treatment. Also apparently can’t report people for yelling at patients through the proper channels. (Aka not the floor supervisor. Risk management is who you actually call). So thank you for allowing me to be discharged because your doctor wanted to cut me cold turkey off a medication instead of using the tamper my doctor has on my medication bottle. Which can cause my body to go into shock. Which would make the PEs still in my lungs get to my heart. Cause the DVT in my leg to move. So I hope you guys like... read more
I went. Hospital last night and doctor at ER looked on what desert spring did for me 2 day prior. He decided for 2.5 cyst he couldn't do anything for me but pain meds. Horrible hospital. I could have went home and took pain meds. Im still having to go to another doc for problem. I will never go there again. Desert springs is my choice now. Very good staff there.
Do not come here if it is a medical emergency!!!!! They slack they chit chat and laugh in the halls. While ppl are in pain. The doctors are great all the nurses are lazy and think everything runs on third time.. when people are in pain don't be laughing and talking about your weekend clearly you nurses are busy there plenty to do to make this hospital run smoother.
