Tried to buy a pistol, some time ago and I didn’t have a real ID. Didn’t know the law was in affect at the time. The first thing that comes out of the reps mouth was “are you a legal citizen?” I understand that can be a byproduct of not having a real ID but for the rep to just assume that about me was just insulting. we went into this store today (Tuesday 5/21/2020). Who ever manages this store should be ASHAMED! This store is disorganized, filthy and missing too many items! with the pandemic lock down, there is no excuse for this store to be in this horrible condition! We went to look specifically at a Green Mountain Pellet grill. There was only one store model in bad shape and the aisles around were nearly empty. I recently purchased a shotgun here. Even with all of the craziness with Covid, the changes required to maintain social distancing, and the huge demand for new gun purchases the staff was super helpful, and made the process completely painless.
Ron back at the gun counter is very knowledgeable and friendly. if you want some expert advice in shooting, reloading, and archery. Thanks Ron for all the years of great service!
I went to the sportsman wearhouse with my step daughter she wanted to buy a 22 after all the paperwork one guy told her she couldn’t buy the gun. Because she was with me. He told her he thought she was going to give the gun away. She could go to prison if she bought the gun. I have 300 dollars gift card. It will rot before I go back into that store. Pissed off
The friendly staff has always been helpful to me and helped me get on to more fish through selections of baits.
Definitely my favorite store! Great selection of products, good prices and awesome people!
