Feel like a new man! – I have been in rehab for a total knee replacement for four months. The physical therapists have provided excellent evaluation of my individual needs and goals and designed exercises that have been a tremendous help. I met my goals ahead of time because the staff presents fresh, new movements and exercises that address particular muscles and tendons. Three times a week I look forward to going to therapy and it is always a little different. The office staff are friendly and very helpful in meeting my sch... read more
poor attention – My physical therapist often disappeared from the room leaving me completely alone and up strapped onto their "Newton" machine. I had no one to ask for any help when I started to feel pain.
Business response:

need some interpersonal skills upgrades – Some of the staff here need to learn some real skills about letting the patient let them know what they need instead of always playing the expert. Patients know their own bodies and shouldn't be talked down to. Laurie in particular is bad about treating you like a child, using the chalkboard like a school marm, and patronizing you with questions about your own condition.
Business response:
Hi Starbuck2222, I am sorry you did not have a good experience at Sports Center. We try to ensure that every client is treated like an individual, so I apologize that you felt you were treated like a child. We appreciate you giving us this feedback so that we can improve our quality of service, as we aim to get people back to doing the things they once enjoyed in a fun, happy environment. Please feel free to contact me at 512-206-0433. -Ellie France
The Sports Center = Best in US – Four words: A client for life. Hands down the most knowledgeable and comprehensive group of phyiscal therapists I have ever encountered, even compared to some physicians (and I am one). There are several key reasons for this: 1) complete understanding of what the injury truly IS (e.g. tendinosis and NOT tendonitis) 2) developing an individualized plan to actually change and remodel your tissue to become bulletproof again and 3) a deep understanding of human nature and the expected ups and dow... read more
Sooooo Informative!!! – Okay so I'm a dancer (ballet, tap, jazz) and I suffered an ankle injury. It is really important to me that I be able to dance because I am on a competition team. When I went to Sports Center they were unlike other places where I've done PT before (and I've had my share of injuries.) First of all, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Everyone knew my name when I walked through the door and was interested in my progress. There was always upbeat music playing during my sessions... But the most important... read more
Just an expensive personal trainer – The staff is really nice and great especially the ladies up front. But it really doesn't matter how nice someone is, it's whether they know what they are doing. Also, they schedule so many clients at the same time that you get almost no personal attention. There was one exercise that I did for 3 weeks before someone noticed that I was doing it WRONG. 3 WEEKS. Not really my money's worth there. I will tell you 2 things I wish someone would have told me. Always get a 2nd opinion and go to a... read more
Best results! – I went to Sports Center for 2 injuries - my achilles and my shoulder. After 4 months, I am fully recovered and back to training. I was so impressed by their ability to measure, manage and get me to 100% health. I highly recommend their services, their therapists and their approach.
Sportscenter is the best – Sportscenter for Physical Therapy is the best for the following reasons: 1) knowledgeable staff 2) fun and friendly staff 3) great atmosphere and location 4) clean 5) great exercises and objective measurements to help you along in your progess 6) free candy and chocolate 7) great music
Want your life back after a serious injury? – Sports center totally saved my life! I tore my acl in 2006 and went to 4 therapists who made my knee worse. Needless to say I ended up having many set backs. Finally a friend kept pushing sports center on me. I figured..hell, nothing else is working so why not. That's when I met with Christine at sports center. She not only explained exactly what condition my knee was in but exactly how I got there, what I need to do now...and how long it will take for me to reach my goals. The b... read more
